Hello Lovers!

After a long absence, I’m finally back to blogging. If you follow me on social media, then I’m sure you heard about the death of my grandmother. It was unexpected and heartbreaking for me. She was (and will forever be) my greatest inspiration.  She was the biggest supporter of my blog; she would print out every post and kept them all in a folder. Since she has been gone I honestly haven’t felt like dealing with this part of my life, until now.

Summer is quickly coming to an end, and just as the season is nearing its change.. so am I. I’ve colored my hair back black. Pink was fun, but damaging (I suppose like other things in life: like candy.. and boys.) I’m also transforming my wardrobe. Lately I’ve been obsessed with this whole 70’s revival trend. It just feels like me. I have traded in skinny jeans for flares and bell bottoms. I’ve swapped my trendy shades for oversized aviators, and my pink curls for a black fro. I am learning to embrace and welcome change. Although frightening, it can also be beautiful and riveting. It’s necessary. I’m anxiously anticipating fall and all it has in store for me.
