Hey Lovers!!!

When my workload gets heavy the last thing I want to worry about it my hair, so I normally opt for some sort of protective style. I was really inspired by Rihanna’s thick long faux locs, so I decided to give them a try. So many of you have complimented my hair & have been asking about my faux locs, I decided to do a post outlining your most asked questions.

1- Who did them?@hairbykarynkingdom
2-How do I keep them fresh? I spray them with KeraCare Detangling Conditioning mist every night— especially concentrating on my roots. I always sleep with a satin scarf. In the morning I tame my edges & style my baby hair with KeraCare edge tamer.
3- What kind of hair did I use? the braids I used 5 packs of regular kanekelon hair. To twist around the braids I used 4 packs of Zury Dios Mali twist braid hair in 86″
4- How long did it take? 1 hour & 15 minutes.
5- Are they heavy? no.
6- How many locs are there? 15
7- How long will they last? If you take care of them I imagine they will last 1-2 months. I get bored with my hair so quickly that I’ll probably only leave them in for 3 weeks.
