I decided to start something new on the blog, and I’m super excited to share it with you!!! Sip with Vic will be a new series on the blog where I spill the
beans juice about all of my favorite drinks. Some of them will be alcoholic, some not…but it’s just another way for me to share bits of my life with you guys!
The first drink of the series is one of my absolute favorites…. infused water. I drink infused water ALL the time. One reason is because I know I need to drink water, but I’m not very fond of the taste, so this helps. Another reason is because I genuinely love experimenting with different fruits and veggies, and creating the perfect mixes. Infused water is a great way to detox your body while also getting necessary vitamins.
This particular water is infused with strawberries, cucumbers, and mint. Strawberries are filled with anti-oxidants, vitamin C, and help reduce inflammation. Cucumbers are also filled with antioxidants. Mint is known to aid in digestion and helps with nausea.
To make this water is SUPER simple. Just chop up about 1/4 cup of each fruit and place it in a karaf, pitcher, or large mason jar. Pour filtered water on top, and place in the fridge for at least 12 hours. I like to let my water infuse for a day to make sure that all the flavors and nutrients have transferred into the water. After that.. drink up!!!!!!!!!
