Hello Lovers,

I had a weekend getaway to Joshua Tree a few weeks ago and fell in love. I typically elude any type of heat and/or intense sunlight, so a trip to the Mojave has never been in my plans. Needless to say, I was selling myself short. There is something majestic about Joshua Tree and the Mojave Desert. It feels like freedom and love; a hippie dream come true. Since my rendezvous with Joshua Tree I have had an insatiable appetite for the desert. I have never seen stars shine brighter, or breathed in air so pure.

Desert means: a dry barren area of land that is characteristically desolate. Somehow, I have never felt more alive or more fruitful than I did that weekend. Ironic.
